Cuando tú donde yo

Painting is made up of numerous actions. It is owned, exhibited, criticised, contemplated. But the most primordial of these is the action that provokes the appearance of a mark (Ortega y Gasset, 1959).

When facing this intervention, we must pay attention to the place and the moment in which it was painted. We go back and see the author painting. We reconstruct the scene: in the place we now occupy as spectators was the author. This is unmistakably indicated by the mark he left at a certain moment.

This is how in "Cuando tú donde yo" the link between the spectator, the place, the work and the author is created.
