Rosa Ripoll
Rosa Ripoll was born in Alcoy in 1968. She attended the School of Fine Arts of Alcoy from 1989 to 1999. During those years, her artistic vocation stands out, and she wins several awards and honorable mentions during her studies.
She continues her professional training by attending several courses; among which are the followings:
Art History and Contemporary Art - Culture Lecture Hall of the Caja de Ahorros del Mediterráneo;
From Impressionism to Realism, A Pictorial Perspective – Culture Lecture hall of Denia, Alicante; Contemporary Realism and New Technologies “Skin Colors”- imparted by Guillermo Muñoz Vera, in Chinchón, Madrid;
Nude From the Natural and Still Life - imparted by Golucho in the Casa del Pavo, Alcoy.
In 2018 she also attended a course imparted by renowned artist Paco Lafarga.
In 2019, she attended the course Process of Artistic Creation and Conceptualization of Projects, taught by Cayetano Navarro.
She participated in the edition of the book Artists for Human Rights, published by Unesco.
Her artwork seeks the atmosphere, exceeds the anecdote, and suggests a story.
The intimate scenes and the landscape are the foundation to perceive the clarity in her artwork; they are of great figurative definition where the artist defines the necessary details for the story to develop.
It is evident her great desire to capture family scenes, her most intimate environment as a way to recall these moments as they were, and avoid their fading into the mists of time.
They are scenes where the artist intends to exhibit the everyday life that takes place in the intimacy of each one of us.
Her work has been commissioned by Esperanza Durán and Lucía Romero Segura in her latest exhibitions.
