Saúl Sellés

Saúl Sellés is an interdisciplinary visual artist.

Saúl Sellés studied Illustration and later graduated in Fine Arts at the Universidad Miguel Hernández, Alicante. While finishing his degree, he received the Fórmula Santander Scholarship, which allowed him to complement his studies at the UNAM in Mexico City. Subsequently, he was awarded the “Salt de Pont III” Grant from Mustang Art Gallery for the realization and exhibition of the project “El Lluitador” (2014-15). He was also selected and awarded by the Alicante City Council to present a solo exhibition on display, “Dansa Espasa” (2017-18).

He has been selected and participated in grants and residencies such as Encontros de Artistas Novos IV and Getxoarte. His work has also been acquired and exhibited at the Contemporary Art Encounters of the Juan Gil Albert Institute and by the Pascual Ros Aguilar Foundation. Some of the exhibitions in which he has participated have led him to exhibit in cities such as Berlin, Mexico City, Madrid, Valencia, and Bilbao. He has performed in NGBK, IVAM, Mala Fama, MUA, and JustMad.
