Ximo Canet will create the poster for the 2025 Moors and Christians Festivities in Honor of Saint George.

Ximo Canet, from an early age, was captivated by the world of painting, studying at the School of Fine Arts in his hometown, as well as at the EASD of Alcoy, Valencia, and Barcelona, before continuing his training in a self-taught manner.

A versatile and multidisciplinary artist, he explores and works with various pictorial techniques. A matérial painter, his style is rooted in figurative abstraction.

He stands out for his mastery of the tempera painting process using natural pigments, incorporating spices as pigments to awaken the sense of smell in some of his works. Likewise, he excels in the creation of monotypes using the oil marbling technique on various surfaces. He has held numerous exhibitions and installations and has taught courses on creative plastic painting for both children and adults.

His work is part of various public institutions and private collections at both national and international levels.
